Current Sensing Resistor (CSR) is placed in a current circuit and is used to monitor the current flow by measuring the voltage drop across it. The current sensor outputs a voltage that is proportional to the current through the measured path. According to Ohm’s Law V=I*R to calculate the current flow. CSR is often associated with IC, MOS and designed in the PCM protection board to become one of the important parts of the Lithium battery module.
